Cara agar MPlayer & Xine pada Desktop Linux dapat Memainkan Berbagai Jenis Format Video

Caranya yaitu download dulu codec packnya di ftp://ftp4.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/windows-essential-20071007.zip, kemudian diekstrak, hasilnya dikopikan ke  /usr/lib/codecs.

These are binary codecs for use with MPlayer. They are useless for normal
Windows players (like Windows Media Player, QuickTime, RealPlayer, …) as
they only contain the DLLs without installer and other fancy stuff needed
to use them with common Windows players.
Put the files contained in this archive in a directory where MPlayer will find
them. The default directory is /usr/lib/codecs if you are compiling from source.
If you use a prebuilt MPlayer package it will most likely be /usr/lib/codecs,
see the documentation of your package for details.
In the past /usr/lib/win32 was the default directory,
some packages as well as a few other Unix players like xine and avifile still
use it, refer to their documentation for further details.
On Windows if you are using a prebuilt MPlayer, put the contents of this
package in the codecs folder within your main MPlayer installation folder.

Cara Mengisi Tinta Cartridge PG40, CL41, PG830, CL831 untuk printer Canon iP PIXMA

Catridge tinta yang habis dan belum direfill biasanya masih bisa dijual, trus yang rusak jadi sampah, nah daripada dijual atau supaya gak langsung jadi limbah lebih baik kita isi lagi (daur ulang), kan lumayan hemat apalagi buat anak sekolahan or anak kosan, klo belikan harganya antara 130-200rban tergantung refurbish atau original, klo refill paling murah juga sekitar 20rb-an. Klo dari pengalaman saya, saya bisa refil sampai akhirnya jebol sekitar lima belas kali dalam satu bulan, itu juga karena jumlah pencetakan fotonya tinggi sebab saya buka cetak foto digital, klo yang cartridge hitam blom pernah ganti, kunci supaya catridge  awet yaitu cara pengisian. Cara pengisian yang biasa saya lakuin adalah sebagai berikut :
1. Siapin tinta, catridge yang mau diisi, shieldtape, dan yang utama Cutter.
2. Buka tutup catridge yang berwarna abu2 dengan membelah antara bagian body yang berwarna hitam dengan tutup yang berwarna abu2 memakai cutter.
3. Isi cartride dengan tinta sebatas busa menjadi basah, jangan overdosis, klo orang jawa bilang sebatas nyemek-nyemek.
4. Pasang lagi tutupnya, rekatkan lagi dengan shieldtape.
Kelar deh, pasang lagi di printer, agar counter menunjukkan catridge dalam kedaan penuh lagi, maka printer harus di reset (buatan orang rusia), fungsinya juga bisa buat atasi problem blinking yang biasa ada di printer2 PIXMA.

Seperti telah kita ketahui bersama bahwa kebanyakan sumber energi yang kita perlukan untuk menunjang aktifitas kita, sebagian besar bersumber dari Bahan Bakar Migas dan Batubara yang emisi karbonnya merupakan penyumbang terbesar efek rumah kaca. Oleh karena itu dimulai dari sekarang, dari diri kita dan lingkungan keluarga kita. Apa saja yang dapat dilakukan untuk menghemat penggunaan energi ? Berikut beberapa contoh yang bisa dilakukan dalam kehidupan kita sehari-hari :
1.    Mulailah menyusun rencana perjalanan kita dan anggota keluarga terlebih dulu, tujuannya, rutenya dan waktunya. Apabila ada beberapa tujuan yang bisa dilakukan dalam satu kali perjalanan, kenapa tidak digabungkan saja untuk menghemat pemakaian BBM kendaraan kita ?
2.    Tidak usah keluar rumah dengan kendaraan apabila tidak perlu benar atau sekedar keliling kota.
3.    Apabila hanya satu tujuan, alangkah baiknya menggunakan alat transportasi umum.
4.    Jarak tempuh yang pendek dan dekat serta bisa dilakukan sendiri, sebaiknya menggunakan alat transport yang lebih kecil seperti sepeda motor, sepeda atau cukup dengan berjalan kaki, selain mengurangi polusi, badan juga sehat karena berolah raga.
5.    Lihatlah susunan acara TV yang terdapat di majalah atau koran atau tentukan kapan kita akan menonton acara tertentu agar TV tidak perlu dihidupkan sepanjang malam.
6.    Matikan TV bila ternyata tidak ditonton atau sedang melakukan kegiatan lain, hal ini juga berlaku pula untuk notebook dan pc dengan cara melakukan adjust power options properties.
7.    Gunakan lampu hemat energi secukupnya di rumah dan lampu yang tidak begitu diperlukan sebaiknya dipadamkan.
8.    Nyalakan lampu yang lebih kecil dayanya untuk bagian rumah yang tidak ada kegiatan di dalamnya, kalau perlu lampunya dimatikan.
9.    Batasi penggunaan hi-fi atau sound system yang menggunakan daya listrik besar. Mulailah dibiasakan mendengarkan musik dari MP3 player atau dari telepon genggam. Dengan menggunakan head set / head phone suara yang didengar tidak kalah bagusnya dibanding dengan sound system berdaya listrik besar.
10.    Menonton film kesayangan atau main game konsol tidak perlu dengan home theater sound system, cukup speaker kecil atau langsung dari speaker TV.
11.    Hidupkan AC ruangan atau mobil pada pengaturan suhu di atas 25 derajat celcius dan matikan bila tidak diperlukan.
12.    Matikan kipas angin bila kita sudah tidak menggunakannya.
13.    Kegiatan menyeterika pakaian sebaiknya dilakukan satu atau dua kali seminggu, jangan menyeterika pakaian setiap hari hanya untuk pakaian yang akan dipakai.
14.    Bila mencuci pakaian dengan mesin cuci, cucilah pakaian apabila sudah terkumpul dan sesuai dengan kapasitas maksimal mesin cuci kita.
Dengan hemat energi disamping mencegah global warming, juga meningkatkan kualitas hidup kita, karena dengan berkurangnya polusi dilingkungan kita, menjaga kebersihan dan melakukan penghijauan maka akan diperoleh hidup sehat, klo orang bule bilang Green Style Healthy Life.

Tips untuk Pengguna Linux Pemula ( Newbie )

1. untuk mencoba Linux jangan langsung menggunakan distro yang berat, gunakan dulu distro live cd seperti slax, alixe, nimble-x, puppy, dsl dll.
2. kemudian gunakan live cd yang bisa di instal pada mode grafis seperti wolvix, ubuntu, linuxmint dll.
3. pelajari dahulu konsep pembuatan partisi di linux, klo bisa belajar buat partisi ext3 atau jenis partisi linux lainnya di virtual box atau vmware yang sudah saya sediakan dikoleksi freeware, klo mau langsung bikin di hdd pc, jgn lupa backup dulu data penting kita, daripada menyesal kemudian tiada guna.
4. untuk yang mau dual boot  antara linux  & winxp, buatlah partisi linux di partisi extended krn bila ditempatkan dipartisi aktif (primary) baik linux atau winxp tidak bisa booting.
5. untuk menginstall linux setidaknya diperlukan 2 partisi yaitu linux swap yang besarnya minimal 2x ram pc kita dan partisi root yang besarnya terserah tergantung kapasitas hdd yang belum terpakai.
6. pembuatan partisi bisa dilakukan dengan tool fdisk atau cdisk, tapi untuk yang alergi sama  command line sebaiknya pake gparted.
7. gparted sudah disertakan di distro puppy linux atau wolvix, tampilan grafis gparted hampir sama dengan partition magic (windows).
8. setelah sukses dengan partisi linux, kita instal distro yang “mudah” seperti mandriva, freespire, linux mint, wolvix, zenwalk, zencafe (semua multimedia ready), terus ditingkatkan ke distro2 lain seperti ubuntu, fedora, centOS, openSUSE, slackware (untuk user advance) sampai ketemu yang paling cocok dengan selera kita, klo pengen yang pake bahasa Indonesia pake aja Blank-On distro anak bangsa yang sudah multimedia ready.
9. klo mau nambah-nambah program dilinux tapi masih bingung dengan paket instalasi dan file dependency, silahkan install distro yang sudah menyertakan WINE, misalnya Dewa Linux.
10. Dewa Linux tampilan temanya bisa diubah mirip dengan windows xp atau windows vista, sehingga newbie bisa langsung familier, selain itu sudah menyertakan WINE, jadi kita tinggal mengumpulkan program portable windows misalnya seperti yang banyak disediakan di http://portableapps.com/ atau tinggal googling aja di web
11. program portable yang biasanya kita bawa ke mana2 dalam USB Flasdisk ini 100% berjalan lancar di Linux dengan menggunakan WINE, misalnya 7-zip portable(Compress File), CubicExplorer (seperti windows explorer), DeepBurner portable (burning cd/dvd tool), fast stone image viewer, foxit reader, sumatraPDF, FreeCommander (seperti windows comander), LC ISO Creator, Radio Control (Game), Wesnoth (Game Strategy), PowerDVD Portable, Cool Player (MP3 Player), Photoshop CS3 Portable, Corel Draw X3 Portable and much more…

I have disabled and deleted the Classic Windows XP Install Screens with the info about XP and the blue Background.
You will just see a black background now and the install will look similar to 2000. This saves Space and gives more
info while installing.

The Minimum HD and RAM Requirements have been lifted. You can try and install this on whatever machine you like now.
High ISO Compression has been enabled to save space.

Install Notes:
1. Unrar the ISO from the archives using Winrar.
2. Burn the ISO using a program such as Nero, Alcohol 120, Blindwrite, ect… (Burn at a slow Speed to ensure no errors, 2x-4x)
3. Change Bios Priority settings so it boots from the CD-ROM Drive First. (You may be able to skip this step)
4. Insert Disc and Reboot PC, Follow the on screen prompts and enjoy.

Notes:
If you are getting errors while copying files. It’s your CD, not the release. Try burning it to different brand of cd/media and try burning at the slowest speed possible.
I just tested this in VMWare and it works flawless. You should get between 17-19 Processes and under 100mb of ram usage when using the computer initially. Everything you install/use will obviously increase this, however its the leanest XP Copy around.

-Will my printer still work?
A: Yes, When I say I removed printers, I just did the default windows drivers. As long as you install your drivers that should have came on the CD when you got the printer, it should work fine.

-Is this 64bit?
A: No its 32Bit XP Pro

-What SP3 Build is this?
A: 5512

-Does this include IE7?
A: No, but you can install it yourself with no issue.

-My video is low quality, my sound or some other device isn’t working.
A: Most default drivers have been stripped out. You must download the driver for your devices if it doesn’t pick it up automatically. Most default XP drivers are old and its better to use more updated ones anyways.

saat ini saya dah make Open DNS, kecepatan resolving DNS nya lumayan sih daripada make DNS bawaannya Sp**dy, maklumlah sebab di Sukabumi belum banyak pilihan ISP, coba aja ada M**a seperti di Bandung & Jakarta (unlimited mulai 300rb-an/bln)  atau Fa**net di Surabaya (unlimited mulai 99rb-an/bln)

1. instal dahulu aplikasi Easy Hide Ip, klo blom punya googling aja, search keynya easy-hide-ip
2. instal internet explorer, avant atau safari (browser A) dan firefox, flock, iceweasel, k-meleon atau opera (browser B)
3. setelah kita online, jalankan EHI dengan klik Hide IP Now maka kita sudah mendapat IP baru yang otomatis berlaku di browser A, sedangkan untuk browser B tidak berpengaruh karena harus mengatur proxy & port secara manual, tapi ini malah jadi keuntungan untuk kita, kita bisa download secara bersamaan misalnya di rapidshare pake internet explorer (browser A) di paralel sama download rapidshare pake firefox (browser B), hal ini berlaku pula untuk file sharing lainnya, jadi kita bisa dunlut 2 aplikasi di rapidshare, 2 mp3 di 4 shared, 2 e-book di depositfiles, itu cuma misal aja, kita bisa mix downloadnya sesuka hati kita klo orang jawa bilang sak karepku dewe, mantafssskan bro, klo IP baru dah limit tinggal klik aja Get A New IP, dijamin puas deh dunlutnya, ditunggu feed backnya ya, sebab cara ini berjalan lancar di kompi ku, dan banyak cara ngakalin rapidshare & file sharing lain tapi jarang yang berhasil, klo berhasil biasanya cuma sebentar, sebab metode di rapidshare sering berubah-ubah, sedangkan trik yang ini gak tergantung dengan metode download yang lagi berlaku,
tapi klo masih perlu rapidshare tools silahkan ambil disini.
